Software Project Management

Software project management is a very crucial element of any technological project. Without it, a project will never be successful. During our early days, we wondered why our projects failed. Each time we worked on a project, it would end up with a lot of things to complete; hence we would end up in loss or just leave the project without asking for payment. As we grew, we realized that any project we do should have where it starts and where it ends, and must be legal. That way, we would secure our software projects, and maintain a rich portfolio. Knowing where a software project starts and ends also requires experience, and that is the experience we have. For any project to be successful, it must be scheduled, well budgeted for and documented (for it to be usable).

Most projects, when completed may be usable for a single cycle of a period e.g. a month or a year. When not well documented, it cannot be inherited for use when the original users of it leave an organization.

When a project is worked on with the intention of fully completing it, it is definitely a poor a project. A successful project is one that we put into consideration that we have little time on earth. It is implemented as versions, and it must not be a mere replacement of the current solution but an improvement, otherwise you will spend the whole of your life trying to re-invent wheels.

Different projects require different approaches.

As experts in Software Project Management, we will assist you in writing the project proposal document. The project proposal document will outline in summary what your project is all about. It doesn't necessarily state what your project will be like when complete.

After the proposal, we will assist you in fact gathering of the current setup that concerns the need for a project. During fact gathering we will document the current processes and practices. This might involve current policies and formulae. After the fact gathering process, we will start the intensive analyses of current systems based on what will have been gathered. Through system analysis of the current setup, we come up with the logic design of the current system. We then start the problem formulation of the project.

After problem formulation we start to document the proposed system through regular interaction with you or your organization. System Logical Process Flow Charts are produced.

After this is completed, proposed system documentation is said to be complete.

After this stage, you have two options, to have us design your system, or to let us assist you in choosing manpower to complete your project.
